TCM for Prostatitis
Prostatitis is a knd of inflammation of the prostate sometimes caused by
bacteria. It is usually a part of chronic pelvic pain syndrome, and some of the
signs and symptoms can be pelvic pain, difficult/painful urination, painful
ejaculation, erectile difficulties, etc.
In non-infective prostatitis, acupuncture may be a safer and more effective way to relieve this painful condition. Chinese herbs are also effective to helpful in dealing with infective or non-infective prostatitis.
TCM for BHP
BPH is a situation that the growth of the cells in the prostate resulting in an
increase in the size of the prostate. This is something that normally happens
throughout the life of a healthy adult male. But sometimes the increase in size
can result in issues with urination such as difficult, painful, incomplete,
frequent, urgent, weak, or nighttime urination. This condition affect
quality of life by increasing the frequency of urinate or urgent feeling of urination.
TCM associates enlargement of the prostate with kidney Qi deficiency. The Qi (energy) deficiencies in the prostate gland causes it to enlargement that is known in the Western medicine as benign prostatic hyperplasia.
In
order to compensate for this decline, men in China have historically
used acupuncture treatments to enhance the circulation and energy in
the prostate. To support the effect of acupuncture, they have also used
Chinese herbs in traditional herbal formulas to replenish the kidney
essence. Thus acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine help to normalize
prostate function and restrain enlargement.

Even TCM do treat cancer in China. But TCM un-fortunatly do not treat prostate cancer in USA for common reasons you know. But it can play a role in relieving symptoms caused by radiation and
other prostate cancer treatments. Acupuncture can be usefull as a post
