rescure collapse. They are used to treat cold syndrome such herbs as Ephedra,
Cinnamon twig, and Dried Ginger.
There are five kinds of flavors in herbs: Spicy flavor such as cinnamon and
mint are usually used to increase circulation and give energy. Sweet Flavor such
as Ginseng and liquorice are tonic and intend to blend all of the other herbs.
Sour flavor such as schizandra berries are strongly astringent and used to
restore balance to the immune system. Bitter flavor such as gentian and rhubarb

PHILOSIPHY OF CHINESE
MEDICINE.
According to Ancient Chinese philosophy, all creation
is born from the marriage of two polar principles, Yin and Yang, such as earth
and Heaven, Winter and Summer, Night and Day, Cold and Hot, Wet and dry, Inner
and Outer, Body and Mind, etc.
harmony of those unions mean health, good
weather, and good fortune, while disharmony leads to diseases, disasters, and
bad lucks.
The goal of Chinese Medicine is to restore harmony. Each human
is treated as a planet in miniature, a garden in which doctor and patient work
together to cultivate health. Like a gardener usinges irrigation and fertility
to grow prosperous plants, the doctor uses acupuncture, herbs, and food to
recover and maintain health.
